LOUP Skateboard hanger
LOUP is a smart solution for storing skateboards and longboards. Designed for everyday use, it makes grabbing your board as effortless as hanging up your jacket. With a clean, minimal design that fits any space, LOUP turns daily routines into something just a little more beautiful.
Most skateboard storage overlooks what the board represents—identity, artwork, and lifestyle. We set out to design a hanger that treats the board as something to display, not hide. It needed to fit both skateboards and longboards, protect walls and graphics, install easily with one screw, and feel at home in any space.
LOUP is a minimal, one-piece hanger made from a custom blend of wood fibers and bio-based PLA. It holds decks from 70–120 cm securely, without pressure points or marks. The design is simple, durable, and lets the board take visual focus. Produced locally in Sweden, LOUP is our own contribution to everyday design for people who live with their boards.

Design process
The design process for LOUP began with a clear ambition: to create a wall-mounted hanger that treats the skateboard as a visual object worth displaying. We defined key requirements—secure hold, easy access, minimal wall damage—and explored how these could be solved in a compact, elegant form.
Through sketching and 3D-printing, we tested geometry and usability, focusing on how boards of different sizes sit and how intuitive the handling feels. A custom blend of wood fibers and bio-based PLA gave us the right balance of strength, sustainability, and tactile quality. Final prototypes refined the wall distance and mounting for a clean, seamless install.
