Probe stand
Irradia develops equipment for clinical laser therapy. For the launch of their upgraded MID-Laser system, we designed a modular, stackable probe stand that lets clinics customize their own workstation setup.
The base unit can have several probes connected with long and tangly cables. Therefore the physiotherapists need an easy, accessible way of placing and viewing the different probes. Each clinic need their own unique setup, and consequently our task was to design a new modular and changeable product stand.
Each stand can hold up to three different probes or act as a docking station for the central unit. By making it small, modular and stackable, we allow the user to customize the workstation according to her preferences, with the added benefit of greatly reduced tooling costs.
